“I just moved to the area and feel so fortunate that my arrival coincided with the opening of Mindful Paws. I have a very energetic and enthusiastic 1 year old Australian Shepherd. I feel comfortable leaving him in the care of this team knowing that he will be able to play in a safe, controlled environment by people who understand dogs and all of the different temperaments and challenges each can present. They start with a meet and greet which was reassuring to me that they would know about any dogs that were reactive and would need special care or wouldn't be a good fit at their facility. They introduce the dogs slowly to make sure they play well together instead of tossing them together and letting the dogs sort it out. They make sure that dogs of similar energy levels and plays styles have the opportunity to play together. They take lots of pictures of their interactions which is fun for me to review. I can already tell which of the dogs are Finnegan's "besties". The location and space is beautiful, both outside and in. They have separate fenced areas outside for different groups, a large playroom inside, and separate "cubbies" with cots for nap/chill time. Overall I know that my guy is in great hands at Mindful Paws, and my post daycare time is my most peaceful and favorite time of the week!”

“Beautiful facility with friendly staff that know what dogs need, and provide it too. Our pup came home nice and tired, and made new friends on his first day. They have toys, padded indoor space, large fenced in yards, cots to lay on, and plenty of staff interaction! They knew our pup has issues with separation anxiety while crated, and they went the extra mile to work with him on this issue on his first day. The staff even provided lots of photos of our pup playing throughout the day. They are a small, non-franchise business which makes me comfortable in knowing my pup will get quality care. Highly recommend Mindful Paws!”

“We have been going to Mindful Paws for about a month now and I just can’t say enough about how great they are. I have a 5 month German Shepherd who has a ton of energy. This is a beautiful facility with outdoor yards and indoor space for those bad weather days, everyone is friendly and very knowledgeable. Our Sadie is part of our family and it’s so nice to have a place to take her that I know she will be well taken care of, not to mention how nice and tired she is!”

“Mindful Paws has quickly become a home-away-from-home for our five year old shepherd. By our third visit, she was so excited when we pulled in and saw the staff. She can get overwhelmed with a lot dogs, and Paws always makes sure she has a small group to play in that's a good fit for her and her energy level. Not to mention it is just a beautiful place, too, and everyone's super friendly, professional, and reliable. Very lucky to have this day-care option in the area!”

“As we drove in we were thrilled with the view and the wonderful location. Fresh air, green grass and nice and safe play fields. There is lots of room for the dogs. We brought Charlie to our "meet and greet" with Liz and Shirley. We were very impressed with the facility - its design, the cleanliness, and the overall concept. Of course our 5 month old pup was not on his best behavior but it was clear both women knew what they were doing as Charlie responded to them immediately. What we didn’t realize was how important the time Charlie spends at Mindful Paws is to his growth and socialization. Charlie seems much calmer at home since his weekly visits. It’s easy to go online to their site to book time, communicate with the staff, and see delightful pictures of your dog at play. The only negative thing is when we come to pick up Charlie he doesn’t want to leave.”

“I brought my 8 month old lab puppy to Mindful Paws to give him the opportunity to socialize with other dogs, and, hopefully, use up some of his energy. He had a bad experience with a larger dog as a puppy and was very timid around other dogs. They were great at understanding dog body language and worked with my sweet puppy.
